Welcome to Citizen Calc: Business & GST ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a transparent, secure user experience.


1. SUMMARY: OUR CORE PRIVACY PRINCIPLE

We do NOT collect, harvest, track, sell, or share any of your personal data.

Citizen Calc: Business & GST is built on a strict privacy-first, offline-first architecture. All calculations, custom GST tax percentages, step-by-step audit histories, sound/vibration toggles, and visual theme preferences remain strictly on your physical device and are never transmitted to external servers.


2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

- Personal Identifiable Information (PII): Such as your name, email address, physical address, telephone number, or government-issued IDs.

- Financial or Banking Information: We do not collect or store bank account numbers, credit card credentials, or financial transaction logs.

- Calculation Data & Audit Steps: All digits, mathematical formulas, GST additions/deductions, memory registers (M+, M-, MRC), and Grand Total (GT) calculations are processed exclusively on your device's local CPU.

- Location Data: We do not request or track your precise or approximate GPS location.

- Microphone or Camera Data: We do not request or access camera or microphone hardware.

- Advertising Trackers: We do not track you across third-party apps or websites.


3. INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY ON YOUR DEVICE

To provide an authentic and seamless desktop calculator experience, the App stores certain configuration preferences locally on your physical device using Apple's standard sandboxed storage (UserDefaults):

1. Calculation History: Up to the last 200 calculation steps for your personal "Check & Correct" history review. You can clear this history at any time with a single tap in the Check History screen.

2. Custom GST Tax Rates: The 5 customizable GST percentage presets configured by you (e.g., +3%, +5%, +12%, +18%, +28%).

3. App Settings & UI Preferences: Selected calculator layout type (Basic, Basic + GST, Advance, Advance + GST), active visual theme (Classic, Graphite, Rose, Gold, Cocoa, Ember, Ocean, Forest, Violet, Midnight), keypad sound toggle, and keypad vibration/haptic toggle.

This data never leaves your device and is permanently erased if you delete or uninstall the Application.


4. DEVICE FEATURES AND PERMISSIONS

The Application utilizes standard on-device iOS hardware capabilities:

- Audio Playback: The App plays simulated acoustic key-click audio using Apple's AVAudioSession in ambient mode. No sound is ever recorded.

- Haptic Feedback: The App triggers tactile feedback vibrations via Apple's iOS Taptic Engine (UIImpactFeedbackGenerator) when keypad vibration is enabled.


5. FREE FULL ACCESS & IN-APP PURCHASES

Citizen Calc: Business & GST is provided as a fully unlocked, free utility application. All themes, GST tax calculation modes, Check & Correct audit tools, and quick calculation practice games are accessible without mandatory subscriptions or hidden paywalls.


6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND CRASH ANALYTICS

- Apple Standard Diagnostics: If you have opted in to share diagnostic data with app developers in your iOS settings, Apple may furnish anonymized, aggregated crash diagnostics. This contains no personally identifiable information.

- Offline Operations: The core computational engine operates 100% offline without requiring internet connectivity.


7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA & GDPR-K COMPLIANCE)

Citizen Calc: Business & GST is safe for users of all ages, including children under 13 (and under 16 in the European Union). Because no personal information is collected whatsoever, the Application fully complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and EU GDPR.


8. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS (GDPR / CCPA / GLOBAL)

Under global privacy regulations (including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and UK GDPR):

- Right to Access & Portability: All your data is stored locally and immediately visible within the App.

- Right to Erasure: You can wipe calculation history at any time using the in-app "Clear" button or by uninstalling the App.

- Do Not Sell or Share My Information: We do not sell, rent, or trade any user data.


9. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be reflected with a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
